U16 Girls Footy Team wins Support from Triple J’s Ben and Liam
Triple J’s Ben and Liam have been running a National competition to follow a
local Sporting Team that needs support. Our U16 Girls footy team havnt kicked
a single point yet in 2019 so U16’s Coach Kylie Barton decided to enter the competition.
After a few weeks of sending text messages and drumming up support for her team
the Triple J hosts decided TODAY that they will support Our U16 Team for the rest of 2019.
So far in just 1 hour we have received 3,000 likes and around 100 comments of
support on Instagram.
Thank you to Kylie Barton our U16’s Coach for all her efforts
So everbody jump on board please for the remainder of the year and support our Girls.

Steve Receives Life Membership
Have just had the privelidge of awarding a life membership to a special person that had been involved with our great club from the late 70’s to the late 90’s.
Steve Lawford was a popular member of our trainers group.
He had a myriad of roles at the club but none better than delivering that bottle of water for a drink on game day
Clubs need blokes like Steve Lawford.
So thank you Steve for all those years of dedication to the Rovers.
You will get a special mention at our presentation night.
